Job description

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Chief Marketing Officer leads the organization's marketing strategy and builds a high-performing marketing function capable of supporting the company's next phase of growth. This executive will serve as a strategic member of the leadership team, bringing deep expertise in customer-centric marketing, brand strategy, consumer insights, and demand generation.

The CMO will be responsible for developing a holistic, full-funnel marketing strategy that strengthens RCA's brand, expands market reach, improves customer engagement, and drives patient acquisition across both existing and emerging service lines. This leader will work closely with Operations, Business Development, Finance, Technology, and the Mission Center to ensure marketing investments are aligned with organizational priorities and growth objectives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Own and lead the enterprise-wide marketing strategy, aligning brand, acquisition, retention, and growth initiatives with RCA's long-term business objectives.
  • Develop and execute a full-funnel marketing strategy that balances upper-funnel brand and consumer segmentation initiatives with lower-funnel digital optimization.
  • Build a comprehensive understanding of patient and family decision-making journeys, leveraging customer insights and market research to address customer needs and improve engagement.
  • Build and scale RCA's national brand presence and top-of-funnel strategy, strengthening awareness, trust, and consideration among patients, families, and referral partners to sustainably expand the pipeline over time.
  • Lead market landscape analysis to support new facility openings, geographic expansion initiatives, and the launch of new service lines.
  • Partner closely with Business Development, Operations, and the Mission Center to ensure alignment between marketing activities, patient demand, and organizational capacity.
  • Drive measurable growth in patient inquiries, qualified leads, admissions, and conversion rates across the enterprise.
  • Champion innovation across the marketing organization, including the thoughtful adoption of emerging technologies, automation capabilities, and AI-enabled tools.
  • Assess, develop, and mentor the existing marketing team, establishing the structure, capabilities, and processes required to support a larger and more complex organization.
  • Serve as a visible and influential leader across the organization, helping strengthen RCA's culture, mission, and employer brand.
PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 15+ years of progressive marketing leadership experience driving growth within consumer-facing, multi-site, or similarly complex organizations. Experience in healthcare, behavioral health, or other highly regulated industries is preferred but not required.
  • Proven ability to build and execute full-funnel marketing strategies that drive measurable business outcomes.
  • Experience developing customer-centric marketing programs informed by qualitative and quantitative consumer research.
