Job summary

Mission Linen Supply is seeking experienced maintenance technicians with leadership potential to head their own facility after a structured nine‑month program. Starting pay ranges from $30 to $38 per hour, depending on education, experience, and location, with comprehensive benefits and relocation after training.

The fast-track program trains you under top Chief and Regional Technicians, focusing on electrical, mechanical, and energy conservation practices in an industrial laundry setting.

Qualifications

• Hands-on maintenance experience with PM programs and scheduling.
• Boiler operation, testing, and maintenance.
• Industrial plumbing systems, wastewater, and treatment knowledge.
• Welding of MIG/TIG or industrial fabrication.
• Hydraulics and pneumatics systems and repair.
• Industrial electrical systems, PLCs, schematics, control panels.
• Experience in a management, supervisory or team-lead role.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance operations for your own facility after training.
• Complete electrical coursework and energy conservation practices.
• Master industrial laundry equipment such as ironers, folders, presses, washers/extractors, tumblers.
• Finish safety training, including Forklift Certification and LOTO procedures.
• Submit regular progress reports to Learning & Development and attend workshops.
• Advance to Chief Technician at one of Mission Linen Supply's facilities after training.

Mission Linen Supply is looking for experienced maintenance technicians with management or supervisory experience who are ready to lead their own facility. This program is built for skilled tradespeople who already have hands‑on technical expertise and some team leadership experience, not for those just starting out in the trades.

Industry experience is not required.

The Opportunity

This is a fast-track, nine-month training program in which you'll be trained directly by Mission's top Chief and Regional Technicians. In less than one year, you'll learn what most of our technicians take five years to learn.

Relocation requirement

candidates must be willing to relocate after training to manage their own facility within the first three years of the program.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Train directly with Mission's top Chief and Regional Technicians to lead the maintenance operations of your own industrial laundry facility
• Complete electrical engineering coursework and learn energy conservation practices specific to our facilities
• Master industrial laundry equipment ironers, folders, press equipment, washers/extractors, tumblers, and towel folders
• Complete safety training, including Forklift Certification and Lock Out/Tag Out (LOTO) procedures
• Complete regular progress reports with our learning and development department and participate in development workshops
• Upon completion, move into a Chief Technician position at one of our 25 facilities

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Preventative Maintenance (PM) programs and scheduling
• Boiler operation, testing, and maintenance
• Industrial plumbing systems and repair; wastewater and treatment systems
• Welding MIG, TIG, or industrial fabrication
• Hydraulics and pneumatics systems and repair
• Industrial electrical systems, including Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), schematics, and control panels
• Prior experience in a management, supervisory, or team‑lead role (required)
• Associate's degree or certification in a related industrial or technical field
• Strong electrical/mechanical aptitude; military experience welcomed and valued
• Willingness to relocate after training to manage your own facility within the first 3 years of the program (required)
