Job summary

EPAM Systems, Inc. seeks a Chief Infrastructure Automation & Orchestration Engineer to lead the architecture, design, and delivery of scalable hybrid Windows, Citrix, and cloud platforms with a strong automation focus.

You will mentor engineers, drive operational handoffs, and collaborate with cybersecurity, network, and service desk teams to ensure secure, resilient environments across on-prem and cloud. This senior role requires expert leadership and deep cloud/IaC experience.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hybrid infrastructure engineering experience.
• 5+ years of Microsoft Windows experience in enterprise design, integration, and validation.
• 5+ years of cloud experience with AWS or Microsoft Azure, including identity and hybrid patterns.
• 5+ years of Infrastructure as Code development and maintenance experience.
• Strong leadership skills to mentor engineers and advocate standardization.

Responsibilities

• Define hybrid infrastructure architecture for Windows, Citrix, and cloud platforms with an automation-first approach.
• Lead adoption of Infrastructure as Code practices through standards, examples, and mentorship.
• Engineer and administer identity and access management across on-prem and multi-cloud systems.
• Build automation and self-service workflows using PowerShell to reduce manual operations.
• Align security, privacy, and operational requirements with practical engineering controls.
• Coordinate with cybersecurity partners to deliver threat management initiatives.
• Establish monitoring, alerting, and reporting for uptime, performance, capacity, and utilization.
• Present technical decisions and tradeoffs to audiences of varied seniority.
