Job summary

MassDevelopment seeks an entrepreneurial CIO to join the executive team. You will drive long-term technology strategy, enterprise architecture, data governance, cybersecurity, and AI governance to support the agency’s mission across the Commonwealth.

Leading a team and partnering with the CEO, Leadership Team, and Board, you will guide cloud strategy, vendor relationships, and technology modernization while ensuring compliance and stakeholder value.

Qualifications

• Requires bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, or related field.
• Advanced degree strongly preferred (MBA/MPA/MS).
• 10–15+ years of progressive IT leadership experience, including enterprise-level oversight.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership aligned with MassDevelopment’s mission and board expectations.
• Oversee enterprise architecture, data governance, cybersecurity, and AI governance.
• Lead technology modernization, digital transformation, and change management initiatives.
