Job summary

Halifax County is seeking an experienced Chief Information Officer to lead the County’s technology strategy, enterprise systems, cybersecurity governance, vendor‑managed services, and digital transformation initiatives.

The CIO will serve as the principal technology advisor to the County Administrator and will drive modernization of business processes, resilience planning, and secure, efficient digital services, including optimizing Tyler Munis/Enterprise ERP.

Halifax County is seeking an experienced, strategic, and forward-thinking Chief Information Officer to lead the County’s technology strategy, enterprise systems, cybersecurity governance, vendor-managed services, and digital transformation initiatives. This executive-level position will serve as the principal technology advisor to the County Administrator and will lead efforts to optimize the County’s Tyler Munis/Enterprise ERP system, strengthen cybersecurity and continuity planning, modernize business processes, and expand secure and efficient digital services.
