The role combines inpatient and outpatient ID clinical care with mentorship of faculty, development of standards, and active participation in education for residents and students, aligning with hospital-wide quality and safety priorities.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in infectious disease.
• Leadership experience in clinical oversight and mentorship.
• Strong knowledge of infection prevention, hospital epidemiology, and antimicrobial stewardship.
• Excellent clinical judgment and multidisciplinary communication.
• Commitment to teaching and learner development.

Lead the infectious disease department, overseeing hospital epidemiology and collaborating across the health system. Provide inpatient and outpatient infectious disease clinical care while supporting antimicrobial stewardship initiatives to improve patient outcomes.
