Job summary

Malala Fund is seeking a Chief Operating Officer to act as the CEO’s operating partner, leading core functions and aligning strategy with execution across geographies. You will drive enterprise planning, risk management, and safeguarding with a disciplined, ambitious approach to organisational performance.

As a member of the Executive Leadership Team, you will translate strategy into coordinated action, oversee budgeting and governance, and ensure resources enable impactful programs for girls’

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive senior leadership experience spanning operations, finance and enterprise management.
• Experience translating strategy into multi-year and annual operating plans, with global scope.
• Demonstrated leadership across enabling functions and strong financial stewardship.

Responsibilities

• Set annual strategic priorities and goals, workplans and resource plans.
• Lead a coherent operating model across entities and geographies for execution and efficiency.
• Oversee finance, operations, risk, safeguarding and MEL with executive oversight.
