Job summary

USGBC, the U.S. Green Building Council, seeks a Chief Growth Officer to lead global growth strategy, expand adoption of products and services, diversify revenue, and strengthen brand value.

You’ll plan, develop, and execute initiatives and report to the CEO as a member of the Executive Leadership Team. Based in Washington, DC with a hybrid schedule, you’ll lead a global team of about 110 professionals across Market Development, Sales, Marketing & Communications, and Customer Success,

Qualifications

• 15+ years in nonprofit or business growth, marketing, business development, or related field.
• 5+ years of executive-level leadership in a relevant role.
• Experience managing operations across domestic and international geographies.
• Proven track record building high-performing, diverse teams and partnerships.
• International market experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead global growth strategy to increase brand value and adoption of products/services.
• Prioritize resources to achieve sustainable growth and outcomes.
• Identify significant growth opportunities and diverse revenue streams.
• Drive membership growth and partnerships to expand global presence.
• Monitor metrics and lead business reviews to ensure alignment and accountability.
• Represent USGBC/GBCI at key industry events and meetings.
