Job summary

University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine seeks an Associate or Full Professor to lead CHOP’s Division of Genomic Diagnostics within the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine. The role emphasizes clinical leadership, education, and translational genomics.

The successful candidate will develop new tests and technologies, foster collaborations with CHOP and external partners, and advance a broad genomic diagnostics program in a non-tenure clinician educator track.

Qualifications

• MD and/or PhD required.
• Molecular Genetic Pathology certification following Pathology residency, or ABMGG certification in Laboratory Genetics and Genomics.
• Physicians must be eligible/licensed in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

Responsibilities

• Teach fellows, residents, medical and graduate students, and staff in various settings.
• Develop and implement tools for diagnostic and translational medicine; standardize interpretation of multi-omic data.
• Lead Genomic Diagnostics initiatives and drive clinical research in genomic diagnostics.
