Job summary

LMW HR Group, a dynamic group of companies in the Human Resources and Outsourcing sector, seeks an experienced Chief Financial Officer to own the Group’s financial strategy and management and act as a strategic partner to the CEO and senior management.

Reporting directly to the CEO, the CFO will be a senior finance professional with strong commercial acumen, extensive hands-on financial management experience, and the ability to translate financial data into clear business insights,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field required.
• Master’s degree and/or professional qualification such as ACCA/ACA/CFA strongly preferred.
• At least 10 years of substantial finance leadership experience (CFO/Finance Director).
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow management, financial planning and reporting.
• Strong financial modelling and analytics, with ability to build business plans and scenarios.
• Experience across multiple countries with international finance knowledge.
• Excellent English, written and spoken, with stakeholder management experience.
• Proven leadership and people management capabilities.

Responsibilities

LMW HR Group, a dynamically growing group of companies operating in the Human Resources and Outsourcing sector, is seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to take ownership of the Group’s financial strategy and management and act as a strategic partner to the CEO and senior management.

Reporting directly to the CEO, the CFO will be a senior finance professional with strong commercial acumen, extensive hands‑on financial management experience, and the ability to translate financial data into clear business insights, recommendations and actionable plans.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute the Group’s overall financial strategy in close collaboration with the CEO and senior management.
• Lead the annual budgeting, forecasting and long‑term financial planning processes.
• Manage and closely monitor cash flow, liquidity and funding requirements across the Group.
• Develop financial models, business plans and scenario analyses to support strategic and operational decision‑making.
• Assess investment opportunities, new business initiatives and projects, evaluating their financial viability, risks and expected returns.
• Monitor profitability across Group companies, services and projects and recommend corrective actions where necessary.
• Analyse actual performance against budget and forecast, identifying variances, trends and areas requiring management attention.
• Prepare and present regular management reports, financial KPIs, forecasts and business performance analyses to the CEO and senior management.
• Oversee accounting and finance operations, ensuring the accuracy, integrity and reliability of financial information.
• Oversee and coordinate finance operations across multiple countries, ensuring consistency and alignment of financial and accounting practices across the Group.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting, tax and regulatory requirements.
• Lead, develop and motivate the finance team, fostering a culture of high performance, accountability and continuous improvement.
• Manage relationships with banks, auditors, tax and legal advisors and other external partners.
• Drive improvements in financial processes, internal controls, reporting structures and systems, leveraging technology to increase efficiency and visibility.
• Proactively identify financial risks and opportunities and provide timely recommendations to management.
• Anticipate business and financial developments and recommend appropriate actions before their impact is reflected in the financial results.
• Act as a trusted financial advisor to the CEO, providing clear, data‑driven insight to support key strategic decisions

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field.
• A Master’s degree and/or professional qualification such as ACCA, ACA, CFA or equivalent will be considered a strong advantage.
• At least 10 years of substantial Finance experience, including significant experience in a senior financial leadership position such as CFO, Finance Director, Head of Finance or equivalent.
• Demonstrated expertise in budgeting, forecasting, cash‑flow management, financial planning and management reporting.
• Strong financial modelling and analytical skills, with proven ability to develop business plans and financial scenarios.
• Experience in evaluating investments and supporting complex strategic and business decisions.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation and financial controls.
• Good knowledge of international finance and accounting practices, with experience overseeing finance operations across multiple countries, including markets such as Greece, Malta, Cyprus and Portugal.
• Proven leadership and people management capabilities, with demonstrated experience in leading, developing and motivating high‑performing finance teams.
• Strong results orientation, with initiative, energy and persistence in achieving demanding objectives and delivering effectively under pressure.
  Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP and financial reporting systems.
• Strong IT acumen and confidence in working with technology and digital systems, beyond standard ERP and Excel usage, with the ability to leverage technology to improve finance processes, reporting and decision‑making.
• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken, with the ability to communicate effectively with international stakeholders.
• Strong commercial and business acumen combined with excellent analytical and decision making skills.
• Ability to operate effectively at both strategic and hands‑on level.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to challenge, influence and collaborate effectively with senior stakeholders.
