Job Summary

We are seeking a Chief Financial Officer for a direct hire opportunity in San Jose, CA. This senior finance leadership role is ideal for a strategic, hands-on accounting and finance professional who can guide financial planning, strengthen reporting, support executive decision-making, and help drive long-term business performance.

The Chief Financial Officer will play a key role in corporate finance, financial strategy, budgeting, forecasting, compliance, and operational leadership. Key Responsibilities

Compensation and Benefits
  • Salary range: $200,000 to $250,000 per year.

Required Qualifications and Skills
  • Lead corporate finance strategy, budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
  • Oversee accounting operations, financial reporting, compliance, and internal controls.
  • Partner with executive leadership on business performance, risk management, and strategic decisions.
  • Build financial visibility through reporting, analysis, KPI tracking, and process improvement.
  • 3-5 years of relevant finance leadership experience.
  • Strong background in corporate finance, accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, audit processes, and financial compliance standards.
  • Ability to analyze complex financial data and translate insights into actionable business recommendations.
  • Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and executive presentation skills.
  • Ability to lead teams, improve processes, manage competing priorities, and support organizational growth.
Preferred Qualifications
  • CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred.
  • Prior experience in a CFO, VP Finance, Controller, or senior corporate finance leadership role preferred.
  • Experience supporting executive leadership, board reporting, strategic planning, or growth initiatives preferred.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, financial modeling tools, and advanced reporting processes preferred.
