Job summary

Consumer Manufacturing - PE-backed (Vaco by Highspring) seeks a seasoned CFO to lead financial strategy, operations and long-term planning in a hybrid role based in Suffolk County, Long Island, NY. The ideal candidate has deep manufacturing or FMCG experience and proven success in PE-backed environments.

Responsibilities include budgeting, forecasting, reporting, risk management, and guiding M&A and capital strategies while mentoring finance teams and optimizing costs.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in finance with 5+ years in senior executive leadership roles; experience in manufacturing or FMCG preferred.
• MBA or advanced degree preferred; CPA or CFA certifications advantageous.
• Experience working with private equity owned companies.

Salary: $200,000 - $225,000 + bonus + equity

Location: Suffolk County, Long Island, NY (Hybrid - 3-4 days on-site)

About the role

The CFO oversees the organization's financial strategy, operations, and long-term planning to ensure financial health and profitability. This role is crucial for driving financial performance, ensuring compliance, and supporting growth objectives.

Must have manufacturing experience - preferably food & beverage or consumer products with multi-entity being strongly preferred.

Must have Private Equity-backed company experience.

• Experience working with private equity owned companies
• Proven ability to manage and mentor teams.
• Experience with financial management software and ERP systems.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and data-driven decision-making.
