Granite Group Wholesalers LLC in Concord, NH is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to lead all financial functions in a hybrid role. You will partner with the CEO, steer budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting, and drive value creation through data-driven insights.

The ideal candidate has extensive CFO experience, strong leadership, and a track record of strategic financial management in a growing organization. This role requires in-person collaboration several days per week in Concord.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration/management, accounting, or finance required; Master's degree preferred.
• Five+ years' experience as a CFO or senior financial leader.
• Ability to analyze financial data from multiple sources and present insights clearly.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to engage with a wide range of stakeholders.
• Ability to lead teams and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Oversees all financial activities including planning, forecasting, budgeting, accounting, cash flow, and reporting.
• Partner with CEO on strategy, capital allocation, and operational effectiveness.
• Contributes to strategic planning, program development, and financial forecasting.
• Monitors regulatory compliance and internal controls to safeguard assets and accuracy of statements.
• Manages tax reporting, audits, and cross-functional finance operations.

The Chief Financial Officer’s purpose, in our organization, is to help advance our strategic goals by providing financial guidance and overseeing the finance and accounting functions. The position reports to the CEO and is a member of the organization's Executive Leadership Team.

Position is Hybrid but must be in Concord NH a couple days a week.

• Oversees all financial activities of the organization including but not limited to financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, accounting, cash flow management, reporting, revenue cycle and cost management;
• Serve as the CEO's strategic thought partner on business performance, growth initiatives, capital allocation, operational effectiveness, and value creation, providing data-driven insights that support sound decision-making across the organization;
• Plays an active role in the organization's strategic planning, program development and evaluation through financial analysis, forecasting, and advising;
• Conducts financial analysis and planning and identifies opportunities for improving financial performance;
• Monitors policy and external landscape for developments that impact the organization financially and makes recommendations based on such developments;
• Develops organization and program budgets; monitors adherence to budgets; provides analysis and feedback to relevant stakeholders;
• Delivers monthly financial updates and analyses for the CFO and Executive Committee of publicly traded $7.5B dollar parent company (WSO);
• Oversees Finance Department functions including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Finance, Credit & Collections, and Pricing;
• Recruits, develops, evaluates, and manages accounting and finance staff;
• Develops, reviews, and recommends updates to the organization's financial policies and procedures and assures their implementation;
• Ensures compliance with generally accepted accounting procedures, legal and regulatory requirements (i.e, local, state, and federal government requirements including SOX requirements);
• Develops upholds effective internal controls to safeguard assets and reliability of financial statements;
• Oversees business unit tax filings, audits, and reports ensuring timely submission;
• Participates in Executive Leadership Team meetings and activities and works with departments to achieve financial goals;

Required and Preferred Qualifications and Education

• Bachelor's degree in business administration/management, accounting, or finance; Master's degree preferred.
• Five+ years' experience as a CFO
• Ability to analyze financial data from multiple sources
