Job summary

EdVoice seeks a Vice President of Finance & Operations to lead finance, operations, and people systems across EdVoice and EdVoice Institute. Reporting to the CEO, this senior leader will optimize resources, strengthen governance, and enable scalable growth while working across multiple legal entities.

The ideal candidate combines nonprofit accounting expertise with strategic planning, operational leadership, and a collaborative management style to advance California’s education initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• Experience leading finance, operations, or HR in education nonprofits.
• Strong GAAP and multi-entity nonprofit accounting knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead finance, operations, and people systems integration for EdVoice and EdVoice Institute.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and audit preparation across entities.
• Develop risk management, governance, and compliance programs.
• Build scalable systems and processes to support growth and mission.
