Job summary

Acadia Insurance seeks a Chief Field Operating Officer to guide the field and profit center underwriting and marketing operations from our Westbrook, Maine office. You will set strategic direction and ensure delivery of top-line growth and service standards.

You will drive sales, distribution, agency engagement, and market development across New England and Upstate New York, optimize underwriting operations, and lead talent management with a collaborative WRBC culture. Travel approx.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in business-related field.
• MBA or related graduate degree and/or professional designations preferred.
• Twenty years of commercial lines insurance experience with underwriting and marketing responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Consistently achieve operating unit goals for production, profitability, and service.
• Drive effective sales, distribution, marketing, and agency engagement strategies across territories and segments.
• Optimize field underwriting operations to meet expense and loss ratio goals.
• Employ talent management to recruit, retain, and develop underwriting and marketing professionals.
