Job summary

Alpha is hiring for a Director of Community Engagement. You will own relationships with families on campus, lead tough conversations, and protect the coaching partnership with Guides. You will drive community life, partnerships, and growth aligned with each campus phase.

You are a trusted advisor who defends Alpha’s model, manages real-time decisions, and coordinates admissions follow-through to enrollment as needed.

Qualifications

5+ years owning high-trust relationships with families or donors.
Ability to make decisive, credible decisions with demanding stakeholders.
Track record of owning ambiguous relationships and delivering results.
Experience in independent/private education or similar context is preferred.
Hands-on daily use of AI tools to enhance education outcomes.
Clear, concise communication with affluent families.

Responsibilities

Own the relationship with every family on campus and lead hard conversations.
Partner with Guides as the parent-facing co-leader and protect coaching relationships.
Make real-time calls in ambiguous situations and route escalations promptly.
Build campus community through traditions, networks, and partnerships.
Own growth contributions for the campus phase, including admissions follow-through.
