Position Summary:
The CEO/Administrator is responsible for the overall leadership, strategic direction, performance, and operations of Harbors Home Health & Hospice. This role ensures the delivery of high-quality care and services, compliance with regulatory standards, and the successful execution of the organization’s mission and vision. The ideal candidate is a strong, collaborative leader with a deep understanding of home health and hospice services, and a passion for serving the community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the organization in alignment with its mission and vision.
- Oversee daily operations to ensure consistent, high-quality care and service delivery.
- Develop, implement, and monitor policies and procedures in compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, referral sources, healthcare providers, and the broader community.
- Monitor staff performance, ensuring access to training and development to maintain clinical excellence.
- Serve as the principal advisor to the Board of Directors, providing strategic insights and operational updates.
- Guide policy and procedural decisions in alignment with organizational values and community needs.
- Foster community partnerships to enhance coordinated patient care and expand the organization’s outreach.
- Represent the organization at public events, industry conferences, and within professional networks.
- Oversee the development and management of the annual budget and ensure fiscal responsibility.
- Support and enhance fundraising efforts and donor relationships.
- Cultivate and lead a high-performing executive and leadership team.
- Stay informed on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in home health and hospice care.
Qualifications:
- Must hold one of the following:
- Washington State Physician’s License
- Washington State Registered Nurse (RN) License
- Bachelor’s degree in a health-related field and at least one (1) year of supervisory or administrative experience in home health care or a related healthcare program.
- Proven leadership experience in home health, hospice, or related healthcare services.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance standards.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage budgets, and build strategic partnerships.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care and community service.
