Seaboard FCU has a dedicated Board of Directors, loyal membership and is looking for a forward-thinking, results focused, and collaborative leader to lead this organization as their next President / Chief Executive Officer. This opening is due to the upcoming retirement of Seaboard FCU’s long-time CEO, and the Board of Directors is seeking a leader who can ensure seamless continuity of leadership while driving future innovation. The CEO will direct the overall operations of the Credit Union with the objective of ensuring financial stability commensurate with the best interests of its members and work with the Board of Directors to establish short-term and long-range strategic objectives, plans, and policies. They will be responsible for the financial planning and results of the Credit Union and will analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of all operations, leading change where necessary; develop and maintain organizational structure; and develop and retain effective, member-focused and accountable leaders. Duties must be accomplished in compliance with federal and state laws and in accordance with the credit union’s policies and procedures and with constant attention to Seaboard’s vision, mission, and goals.

The successful candidate will be a visionary who is strategy focused, transparent, adaptable, emotionally intelligent and understands the Credit Union’s cooperative purpose. They will also possess strong leadership and interpersonal abilities; solid organizational, analytical, and tactical skills with the ability to coordinate, manage, and direct others effectively; and be a champion for culture development and excellence. At least 10 years of progressive experience with a minimum of 5 years in management at a financial institution and a bachelor’s degree required. MBA preferred.
