Disability Rights New Mexico (DRNM), the state's federally designated Protection and Advocacy agency, seeks a dynamic, mission-driven CEO to lead the organization into its next chapter of advancing the legal rights of New Mexicans with disabilities. For nearly 50 years, DRNM has protected, promoted, and expanded the rights of people with disabilities through individual legal representation, systemic advocacy, abuse and neglect investigations, and public policy work across the state. About DRNM: As a member of the National Disability Rights Network, DRNM provides legal advocacy, information and referral, self-advocacy assistance, training, technical assistance, and systems monitoring to protect the rights of New Mexicans with disabilities, including in areas such as education, employment, community integration, accessibility, self-determination, and access to health care. DRNM is governed by a Board of Directors and supported by an Advisory Council. The Opportunity: Reporting to the Board of Directors, the CEO will provide strategic, legal policy, and operational leadership; oversee financial and grant management; represent DRNM to policymakers, media, and the disability community statewide; and lead a talented team of attorneys and advocates in advancing DRNM's mission.
