Legence, including its IMD division, is seeking an experienced Chief Estimator to lead the preconstruction and estimating function for complex mechanical systems projects. You will drive cost analyses, coordinate with clients, contractors, and design teams, and guide the bid process from start to finish.
The ideal candidate has 15–20 years of plumbing or sheet metal estimating experience, strong HVAC knowledge, and proficiency with Quick Pen and MS Office.

IMD, a Legence company, is seeking an experienced Chief Estimator to support our preconstruction and estimating function. This role leads construction estimating and project planning efforts, driving proactive financial, schedule, and risk strategies across all projects. The Chief Estimator will provide leadership and technical expertise, oversee estimate development, and build strong partnerships with internal teams and external stakeholders. This position requires close coordination with clients, contractors, design teams, and vendors to ensure successful project delivery.
