Job summary

RTX, the world’s largest aerospace and defense company, seeks an Execution Chief Engineer in Tewksbury, MA to drive the design and development of Air and Missile Defense Systems for UAE Patriot/Bahrain Patriot programs. You will oversee system requirements, hardware/software design, integration, and sustainment plans while interfacing with USG/UAE/Bahrain customers.

This onsite role may require travel up to 20% and requires a Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship.

Qualifications

Active and transferable Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required before start date.
U.S. Citizenship is required as only U.S. Citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 10 years of prior relevant experience.

Responsibilities

Support UAE-Bahrain Chief Engineer/Technical Director responsibilities as owner of technical execution or program scope.
Ensure technical integrity and engineering execution across IPTs, CPTs, and disciplines within the Program to cost, schedule, and technical requirements.
Maintain regular cadence of communication with Engineering Leadership Team summarizing status and high-priority topics.
Attend Product Line and Project Team meetings to identify and drive Risk and Opportunity handling plans.
Lead Engineering Program Review rollup and approvals in support of EAC and LRE processes.
Provide technical advisory disposition for Export/Import (EXIM) compliance.
Travel ~20% domestically and internationally.
