Security Clearance Requirement: The candidate must be clearable to DoD Secret Level.
Location: Non-Remote: The candidate will work at multiple locations in and about Manassas, Virginia
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer/Electrical Engineering or Computer Science degree from an accredited university. Advanced degree preferred.
Experience Level: Master with 12+ years of experience.
Travel: Required annual travel less than 10%

Overview

Sedna is seeking to hire a Master Systems Engineer to lead and develop and implement system architectures and for Navy DoD tactical and support systems.

Job Responsibilities

• Primary point of contact for collaborate with external partners, customer, or Navy representatives


• Lead development and analysis of system requirements, validation, and verification testing


• Ensure compatibility, interoperability, and integration of all functional and physical interfaces


• Lead system architecture definition, development, and implementation to meet requirements for HW, SW, facilities, people, and data


• Determine problems, provide solutions that arise during development, upgrade, or maintenance of systems, establish, and manage problem reporting system


• Identify and manage technical risks


• Manage development of Contract Data Requirement List (CDRLs) system engineering documentation


• Implement and manage a technology refreshment program


• Lead establishment and maintain a Cybersecurity program to support system certification and accreditation of requirements

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer/Electrical Engineering degree from an accredited university or equivalent related experience.


• 12+ years’ experience in requirements development, validation, and verification testing


• Leadership experience in a significant program.
