Job summary

CHIME seeks a visionary Vice President of Education to lead its education, professional development, certification, and certificate programs. You will shape portfolio strategy, ensure program quality and financial performance, and enhance learner experiences while keeping CHIME’s offerings credible and relevant.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred.
• Certified Association Executive certification preferred.
• Ten (10+) years’ experience in education, certification, or professional development.
• Experience coordinating educational activities within a professional association.
• Experience leading certification, credentialing, assessment, or professional development programs.
• Knowledge of certification governance, exam development, psychometrics, and recertification.
• Experience with LMS, CRM, or association management technology.
• Strong financial leadership and ability to manage revenue-generating portfolios.
• Excellent project management and problem-solving abilities.
• Superior public speaking skills and ability to work independently under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight for education and professional development services.
• Develop and execute educational and professional development events and programs.
• Lead learning technology strategy, including LMS platforms and related tools.
• Maintain industry knowledge to ensure education programs are current and credible.
• Oversee certification and credentialing portfolio governance and delivery.
• Monitor outcomes and drive continuous improvement across programs.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across marketing, membership, technology, and finance.
