City University of New York is seeking a Chief Diversity Officer (HEO) to lead EEO/AA policy implementation, investigations, and diversity initiatives across campuses. The CDO will supervise staff, collaborate with Legal Affairs, HR, and Public Safety, and ensure compliance with federal and state laws, including Title VI, VII, IX, and 504.

The role requires a JD, a strong background in higher education investigations, and a track record of advancing inclusive practices and equitable hiring.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree and eight years' relevant experience required.
• Experience supervising staff and leading diverse teams.
• Familiarity with Title VI, VII, IX, 504, OFCCP, and related laws.

Responsabilidades

• Directs the implementation of the Equal Opportunity & Non-Discrimination policy.
• Investigates and oversees discrimination and sexual misconduct cases.
• Leads diversity, training, and compliance initiatives across campus.
• Collaborates with legal, HR, and safety offices on Title IX and related mandates.
• Reviews recruitment, salary offers, and interview processes for equity.
