Job summary

Shore Community Services seeks a Chief Development Officer to lead the fundraising team in Skokie, IL, driving data-driven strategies for annual gifts and planned giving. You will collaborate with senior leadership and the Board to secure mission-aligned funding and expand donor engagement.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree (Master’s preferred) and at least ten years of professional fundraising experience focusing on donor stewardship, major gifts, and prospect research.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s Degree preferred.
• Ten years of full-time fundraising experience with proven success in major gifts and donor stewardship.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development strategy and fundraising activities to raise $1.2M+ in annual support.
• Provide annual fundraising budget and track progress toward revenue goals.
• Maintain donor activity in a donor database and produce monthly reports.
• Participate on the executive leadership team to plan cross-functional strategies.
