Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 10+ years of advancement fundraising experience in higher education or a comparable, decentralized, mission-driven organization.
• Proven leadership experience guiding a large development team and managing complex portfolios.
• Willingness to travel and participate in occasional evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Lead Development strategy and performance aligned with institutional priorities and campaign commitments.
• Set annual and multi-year fundraising goals and allocate staff and resources accordingly.
• Use portfolio data to forecast, coach, and address risks; drive donor engagement and stewardship.
• Establish clear expectations for prospect qualification, portfolio management, and fundraiser performance.
• Advise leadership on organizational design, staffing, budgets, and philanthropic opportunities.
