The role serves as the primary technical contact and reports to the government Chief of Cybersecurity Engineering, located in Chantilly, VA with travel to Springfield, VA. The candidate will provide expert guidance on complex cybersecurity solutions, collaborate with internal and external stakeholders,

Qualifications

  • Specialized experience implementing, engineering, architecting or operating cybersecurity technologies with an emphasis in DoD capabilities.
  • Experience leading design and implementation of complex cybersecurity IT solutions on large programs ($100M+).
  • Demonstrated leadership as chief architect, chief engineer, or team lead for 5+ years.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the entire Cyber Engineering organization and all sub-services for the program.
  • Develop, execute, and implement strategy for Cyber Engineering per the Program Manager.
  • Provide engineering guidance for design, development, operations and sustainment of cybersecurity services.
  • Lead research and implementation planning for modernization of cybersecurity solutions and infrastructure.
  • Communicate and influence executive leadership on recommended actions.

The Chief Cybersecurity Engineer is responsible for all technical performance and will serve as the primary point of contact within the program office for all technical matters and issues related to cybersecurity that are not within scope of the Cybersecurity Operations Manager. The Chief Cybersecurity Engineer will report to the government Chief of Cybersecurity Engineering. This position will be located Chantilly, VA with frequent travel to Springfield, VA.Responsibilities:Responsible for managing the entire Cyber Engineering organization and all of its sub-services for the TCS programResponsible for developing, executing, and implementing strategy for Cyber Engineering as adjudicated by the TCS Program Manager.Responsible for mitigating complex issues that often would require extensive research and analysis.Must be able to communicate and influence executive leadership, both within the customer organization and the CACI corporation, on recommended courses of action or solutions.Provide engineering expertise and guidance for the design, development, implementation, operations and sustainment of cybersecurity services that enhance the cybersecurity posture of NGA Programs, Systems, and the Enterprise.Lead the research, analysis, solution design and implementation planning of solutions for the modernization of existing cybersecurity solutions and infrastructures in partnership with internal and external stakeholders to include the Cybersecurity Operations Manager.Drive strategic technological innovation, demonstrating a breadth and depth of knowledge in all things related to the complex operations of cybersecurity services.Provide technical knowledge and analysis of high-level functional systems analysis, design, integration advice on complex matters that require expert level knowledge of the subject matter for effective implementation.Qualifications:Required:Candidate must have a TS/SCI with ability to obtain a PolygraphDemonstrated specialized experience with implementing, engineering, architecting, designing or operating cybersecurity technologies with an emphasis in DoD capabilities.Demonstrated experience leading design and implementation of complex cyber security IT solutions on a large program ($100M+ total contract value).Demonstrated leadership experience serving as a chief architect, chief engineer, functional manager or team lead for a minimum of 5 years.Demonstrated experience modernizing complex enterprise cybersecurity systems.Demonstrated experience presenting briefing to senior customer management and customer stakeholders.Certified DoD 8140.01 and 8570.01-M Information Assurance Technical Officer (IAT) Level III and Information Assurance System Architecture and Engineering Specialist (IASAE) Level III.Education and Experience:Bachelor’s degree, or higher, in Computer Science, Cyber Security Engineering or IT-related discipline. An additional 10 years of experience in cybersecurity may be substituted in lieu of degree.TS/SCI with the ability to obtain a polygraph.Specialized experience (12+ years) in implementing, engineering, integrating, architecting, designing, cybersecurity technologies.Demonstrated 5 or more years of experience supporting an IC or DoD agency in adopting and transitioning systems and services to cloud environments, including hybrid cloud environments.Demonstrated specialized experience applying ICD-503 Risk Management Framework, National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Special Publications, Committee on National Security Systems (CNSS) 1253, International StandardsExperience presenting briefs to senior customer management and stakeholders.Demonstrated experience in cybersecurity design, engineering and operations with emphasis on NGA capabilities.Desired:Organization (ISO) 20000 series, and the IT Service Capability Maturity Model (IT-648 CMM) to secure information systems.-What You Can Expect: A culture of integrity.At CACI, we place character and innovation at the center of everything we do.
