Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, journalism, business, or life sciences.
• 10+ years of progressive communications experience in biotechnology, pharmaceutical, healthcare, or life sciences.
• Demonstrated experience leading corporate communications for biotech or pharmaceutical organizations.
• Strong writing and executive presence; neurology/immunology knowledge is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute an integrated corporate communications strategy and advise the executive leadership on positioning and external engagement.
• Evolve the corporate narrative and messaging architecture across audiences and channels.
• Lead proactive media relations around clinical data, congresses, and milestones.
• Collaborate with Clinical Development, Medical Affairs, Investor Relations, and Commercial teams to translate science into clear communications.
• Develop executive platforms, speeches, and high-profile external engagement materials.
• Drive digital and social communications strategy, including website and editorial content.
• Ensure patient perspectives are authentically reflected in communications.
• Oversee internal communications with leadership and HR on town halls and announcements.
• Build issues management and crisis communications capabilities and escalation processes.
• Establish communications infrastructure, agencies, budgets, and KPIs to support growth.
