Samsung Electronics is seeking a Head of Content and Services Counsel to lead the legal and privacy team for its North America Service Business. The role involves negotiating and reviewing contracts (content, software licenses, app distribution), coordinating with cross-functional stakeholders across US subsidiaries, and handling incidents and privacy issues.

The candidate will manage outside counsel, develop training, and ensure compliance with applicable laws and policy across consumer T&Cs.

Qualifications

• Passion for digital media and emerging digital technology.
• Excellent business and legal judgment with strong risk assessment and prioritization.

Responsibilities

• Advise executives and senior leadership on legal matters impacting the business.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state law and business execution considerations.
• Review, draft, negotiate and execute a wide range of agreements including content and software licenses and app distribution agreements across CTV and mobile.
• Develop and deliver legal training to employees.
• Collaborate across the organization to maintain strong cross-functional relationships.
• Coordinate with Samsung HQ and US affiliates on consumer T&Cs, global policy, and operations.
• Manage investigations and track incidents and breaches and oversee outside counsel relationships.
