Job summary

AVEO Oncology seeks a Vice President, Compliance & Regulatory Counsel to guide regulatory strategy and enterprise-wide compliance for AVEO's on-market and pipeline products.

The role reports to the General Counsel and serves as Chief Compliance Officer, coordinating with Legal, Marketing, Medical Affairs, and Regulatory Affairs to ensure adherence to FDA requirements, the False Claims Act, the Anti-Kickback Statute, and Sunshine Act obligations.

Qualifications

• J.D. or equivalent from an accredited law school and admission to a state bar.
• Minimum of 10+ years of relevant compliance and legal experience.
• Experience guiding product development and regulatory strategy.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal and compliance guidance on FDA regulations, anti-kickback, and competition law.
• Lead cross-functional teams on regulatory submissions and labeling negotiations.
• Develop and implement enterprise-wide compliance policies and training.
• Oversee Sunshine Act reporting and vendor screening programs.
• Manage outside counsel and budget for regulatory matters.
