Job summary

SIHF Healthcare seeks a VP of Communications and Mission Advancement to lead internal and external communications, branding, and development activities. This role reports to the CEO and drives messaging, donor engagement, and fundraising strategy with cross-functional teams.

The ideal candidate translates mission into impact, builds relationships with diverse stakeholders, and guides a comprehensive communications program that supports trusted partnerships and sustainable growth.

Qualifications

• Experience working in nonprofit/healthcare/missions-driven organizations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Budget management and multi-stakeholder initiatives.
• Proven ability to lead teams and engage donors.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive communications and development strategy aligned with mission and culture goals.
• Advise Executive Team on messaging, positioning, and stakeholder engagement.
• Oversee brand identity, content strategy, and media relations across platforms.
• Lead fundraising programs including major gifts and foundations/grants.
• Manage donor communications, stewardship, and reporting; track targets.
