Qualifications

• Master's degree required in a relevant field such as business administration, healthcare administration, health sciences, or clinical research administration.
• 10+ years of progressively responsible leadership experience in clinical research administration at an academic medical center or health system.
• Strong understanding of the end-to-end clinical research lifecycle across various study types.
• Demonstrated strategic acumen with ability to translate priorities into a multi-year roadmap.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive leadership and strategic direction for Emory's central clinical research administration enterprise.
• Set and execute a multi-year strategic and operating plan for ECRO.
• Shape a high-performing culture emphasizing accountability, collaboration, and service excellence.
• Represent ECRO across Emory's research enterprise and foster relationships with investigators and sponsors.
• Oversee pre-award and post-award administration for grant-funded clinical research.
• Partner with technology, informatics, and operations leaders to support CTMS, EHR, and related systems.
• Develop and maintain ECRO's financial model, including indirect cost recovery and recharge mechanisms.
• Monitor ECRO's financial performance and implement corrective actions.
