Job summary

Qualifications

• Current state nursing license with renewal.
• Master's degree in nursing; or master's in health care administration/ business administration; or plan to obtain nursing admin qualifications.
• The plan must describe efforts to gain relevant admin/management skills and provide a timeline.
• Five years of progressive nursing leadership experience equivalent to the Chief Clinical Officer's scope.
• Experience with complex medical/surgical patient care and comprehensive acute medical/rehabilitative care management.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; strong leadership and time management.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, develop, and direct nursing services and other clinical functions.
• Collaborate with the hospital's governing body, management, medical staff and clinical leaders in decision making.
• Develop and implement patient care plans and related programs, policies and procedures.
• Exercise final authority over clinical treatment and services.
• Communicate effectively with leaders, staff, and stakeholders; read, write, and speak English.
