Job summary

Syneos Health is seeking a Director, Clin Dev Ops to lead the technical strategy for the FSP Enablement Team and ensure Trusted Process methodology, SOPs, and project management standards are implemented consistently.

You will provide strategic and operational planning, supervise senior management, and drive continuous process improvements across the company’s clinical operations. This role requires strong leadership, regulatory knowledge, and global collaboration.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree or equivalent; management experience preferred in worldwide clinical research pharmaceutical or biotechnology.
• Thorough knowledge of ICH GCP and regulatory requirements; strong clinical project management background.
• Demonstrated leadership, strategic thinking, and ability to develop contingency plans.

Responsibilities

• Leads forecasting, planning and logistics for clinical operations; drives quality and efficiency improvements.
• Line manages staff; supports professional development, performance appraisals and coaching.
• Develops regional staff plans and oversees talent acquisition and retention.
• Oversees SOPs, PM processes and project management systems; analyzes progress and resource reporting.
• Interacts with executive management; communicates metrics and project status.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.
