Position

Chief Architect (System Architecting, Requirements & Interfaces) – P‑8A Advanced Airborne Sensor (AAS) Special Projects Dallas (SPD) – Richardson, TX, 100% onsite.

Location & Clearance
  • Richardson, TX – 100% onsite.
  • Active U.S. Top Secret Clearance required (U.S. citizenship).
Position Responsibilities
  • Apply interdisciplinary approach to lead activities that plan, design, develop, and verify complex lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions.
  • Lead others to evaluate customer/operational needs to define performance requirements, integrate technical parameters, and assure compatibility of all physical, functional and program interfaces.
  • Develop solutions that meet Open Mission Systems Architecture requirements.
  • Collaborate with customers to ensure needs, requirements, and commitments are met.
  • Present to internal and external stakeholders with appropriate detail.
  • Support analyses to improve architecture or requirements definition.
  • Support cross‑Boeing mission systems interchanges for maximum leverage and reuse.
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or non‑U.S. equivalent directly related to the work.
  • 10+ years of experience in development of Mission Systems.
  • 10+ years of experience in technical leadership of engineers.
  • 10+ years of experience in defining system architectures.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in avionics, Open Architecture, and/or electronic systems development.
Travel

Occasional (less than 15%) travel may be required.

Relocation
