Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking a highly experienced Chief Architect - DevOps & Observability to define and govern enterprise standards for DevSecOps, Platform Engineering, and Observability across stacks. You will own reference architectures, evaluate new tools, run POVs, and lead adoption of standards from POV to implementation, working with application teams and security.

This onsite Columbus role emphasizes cloud-native engineering, automated pipelines, and proactive measurement

Qualifications

Experience defining enterprise DevOps and security standards across complex tech stacks.
Proven ability to lead adoption of DevSecOps, Observability, and Platform Engineering practices.
Ability to evaluate emerging technologies, run POVs, and create reference architectures.
Strong collaboration with application teams, security, and operations to implement standards.

Responsibilities

Define and own enterprise DevOps and DevSecOps Gold Standards across development and infrastructure.
Establish standardized CI/CD, source control, IaC, security integration, and testing practices.
Define reference architectures, reusable components, and Golden Paths for development and deployment.
Lead POVs/POCs for new tools and technologies and translate findings into actionable roadmaps.
Drive observability standards for metrics, logs, traces, and dashboards across platforms.
