A pioneering AI hardware company is seeking a Head of Supercomputing to define and lead the architecture and software for its cluster-scale AI compute systems. This role involves deep systems expertise and managing a talented engineering team. Responsibilities include setting the technical vision, overseeing development, and ensuring system reliability and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in system software and infrastructure, along with proven leadership abilities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in system software, infrastructure, or large-scale compute systems.
• 5+ years leading engineering teams.
• Strong understanding of hardware/software interfaces such as PCIe, RDMA.
• Experience building or operating cluster-scale systems (HPC, AI infrastructure).
• Proven track record of delivering complex systems from early bring-up through production.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the technical vision and roadmap for Supercomputing software stack.
• Build, scale, and lead a high-performance Supercomputing organization.
• Directly manage and develop 15+ engineers.
• Architect and own low-level control-plane software.
• Define orchestration primitives for managing deployments.
• Establish telemetry and observability infrastructure.
