Sound Anesthesia is partnering with Lakewood Ranch Memorial Hospital to recruit a Chief Anesthesiologist for the Bradenton, FL area. The role blends clinical duties with administration, leading a team of physicians and CRNAs in a busy multi-specialty setting along Florida's Gulf Coast.

The ideal candidate will have US residency, board certification in anesthesia, an active Florida license, and proven leadership experience, with a focus on collaborative, high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Completion of a US Residency.
• Board certification in Anesthesia.
• Active FL license.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Prior leadership experience, formal or informal.

Responsibilities

• This is a Medical Director position which includes clinical duties in addition to administrative.
• Must be comfortable with regional anesthesia.
• Lakewood Ranch Medical Center cases include general, ortho (total/partial joint, shoulder, hand, foot & ankle), Spine and Neuro (discectomies, laminectomies, craniotomies, spinal cord stimulator), Uro, Plastics, OB/GYN, EP/IR, and other services.
• Local team collaboration with 4 physicians and 22 CRNAs on the team.

Qualifications

• Completion of a US Residency.
• Board certification in Anesthesia.
• Active FL license.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Scheduling

• 13 weeks of vacation time.
• Ideal working schedule with limited call.
