Job summary

Pfizer is seeking a senior AI leader to advance the application of AI across the Clinical Development lifecycle.

You will partner closely with Oncology Clinical Development, Clinical Operations, Biostatistics, Data Science, Medical Affairs, Regulatory Affairs, and Digital to identify, develop, and scale AI-driven capabilities that improve trial design, data review, study execution, operational efficiency, decision-making, and regulatory readiness.

Qualifications

Experience designing, developing, and implementing AI, ML, or advanced analytics in clinical research.
Experience supporting Clinical Development, Clinical Operations, Clinical Science, Clinical Data Review, or Regulatory Science.
Experience leading cross-functional programs with clinical, regulatory, scientific, and technical stakeholders.
Strong understanding of GCP, drug development processes, and regulatory requirements.
Translating complex scientific or operational challenges into scalable technology-enabled solutions.
Excellent communication and executive influencing skills.

Responsibilities

Develop and accountable to execute the enterprise AI strategy for Clinical Excellence across Clinical Development.
Identify high-value AI opportunities to accelerate timelines, improve quality, reduce burden, and enhance decision-making.
Serve as trusted advisor to senior leaders on AI capabilities, trends, and competitive advancements.
Drive adoption of AI across study design, protocol optimization, feasibility, recruitment, trial execution, and data review.
Lead development of AI-enabled approaches to improve trial performance, operations, and portfolio decisions.
Enable predictive and prescriptive analytics to support program- and study-level decisions.
Partner with digital, data science, and tech teams to design, build, validate, and deploy AI-powered tools.
Establish frameworks for scalable AI solutions integrating into workflows.
Develop agentic AI, generative AI, predictive analytics, and workflow automation for clinical ops and development teams.
Provide SME on global regulatory expectations for AI in drug development and governance frameworks.
