Arcadia University seeks a seasoned Chief Advancement Officer to lead, design, and implement a bold philanthropic strategy aligned with Arcadia’s mission and the Arcadia 2030 plan. The CAO will partner with the President, Board, alumni, faculty, and external partners to expand donor engagement and philanthropic impact.

Qualifications

Ten years of progressive fundraising and advancement experience.
Strategic, accomplished fundraising leader with strong relationship-building and leadership skills.
Proven ability to engage internal and external stakeholders, including alumni, faculty, staff, students, donors, and volunteers.
Ability to design and execute a bold philanthropic vision aligned to Arcadia’s mission and Arcadia 2030.

Responsibilities

Design and implement a comprehensive advancement strategy aligned with institutional priorities.
Identify and cultivate a portfolio of high-capacity donors and organizations through sustained engagement.
Expand alumni giving and lifetime engagement across the alumni lifecycle.
Assess campaign capacity and readiness with leadership, board, and data-informed insights.
Increase corporate and foundation partnerships aligned with Arcadia’s mission.
