Job summary

The Yosemite Community College District invites applications for the Executive Director of the Modesto Junior College Foundation in the President’s Office. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, education, public administration, public relations, development management, or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in an unrelated field plus at least five years in development and community relations may be accepted if addressed in the cover letter.
• Minimum of three years of recent, successful development experience.

Responsibilities

• Identifies annual and long‑term fundraising goals and directs, manages, and implements all private gift fundraising activities.
• Initiates major gift solicitations and cultivates relationships with major prospects for six‑ to seven‑figure gifts.
• Oversees annual fund, President’s Circle gifts, and corporate/foundation grants.
• Organizes and leads events exclusive to the President’s Circle and coordinates scholarship ceremonies.
• Supervises Foundation staff, prepares Board materials, and manages complex budgets and financial reporting.
