Job Juncture in Portland, Oregon seeks a VP, Chief Actuary Officer to lead the actuarial function and partner with senior leadership. You will steer pricing, reserving, and analytics, developing strategic plans and driving business objectives with strong leadership and market insight.

Responsibilities include guiding pricing strategies, elevating analytics capabilities, and mentoring a high-performing actuarial team while ensuring compliance and strategic growth in a Fortune 500–level

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 15 years related experience or training.
• FCAS certification with commitment to continuing education.
• Experience managing teams and implementing strategic vision.
• Strong problem analysis and resolution skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, and SQL.
• Knowledge of actuarial/analytics software such as Arius, R, Python and Tableau.

This role will be based in Portland, Oregon.
Become a key player in our dynamic team as the VP, Chief Actuary Officer. In this role, youll report to the President, provide strategic direction and leadership to the Actuarial Function while partnering with the Senior Leadership team. Youll benefit from sharing best practices with your fellow Actuarial Officers from the other operating units and home office. Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree; or 15 years related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society (FCAS) with a commitment to continuing education.

• Strong problem analysis and resolution skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, and basic SQL.
• Knowledge of actuarial or analytics software such as Arius, R, Python, and Tableau.
