Job summary

SSM Health is seeking an experienced leader to head the breast imaging division, overseeing clinical operations, quality improvement, and strategic growth in a major Missouri health system. The role requires board-certified radiology and breast imaging fellowship with a strong track record in leadership and academic collaboration.

The Lead Interpreting Physician will ensure MQSA compliance, provide expert interpretations across mammography, ultrasound, and MRI, and guide image-guided procedures

Qualifications

• MD or DO with board certification in Diagnostic Radiology.
• Fellowship training in Breast Imaging.
• Eligible for medical licensure in Missouri.
• Demonstrated leadership experience and strong interpersonal skills.

• Provide expert interpretation of screening and diagnostic mammography, breast ultrasound, and breast MRI
• Perform image-guided breast procedures, including biopsies and localizations
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including surgery, oncology, and pathology, to deliver comprehensive breast care
• Mentor and teach medical students, residents, and fellows
• Participate in and support clinical research and academic initiatives
• Ensure compliance with ACR accreditation and regulatory standards
