Qualifications

This leadership role offers the opportunity to oversee and advance a well-established breast imaging program within an academic medical center committed to excellence in patient care, education, and research.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the breast imaging division, including clinical operations, quality improvement, and strategic growth
• Serve as the Lead Interpreting Physician for FDA Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) compliance, ensuring adherence to federal regulations and quality standards
• Provide expert interpretation of screening and diagnostic mammography, breast ultrasound, and breast MRI
• Perform image-guided breast procedures, including biopsies and localizations
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including surgery, oncology, and pathology, to deliver comprehensive breast care
• Mentor and teach medical students, residents, and fellows
• Participate in and support clinical research and academic initiatives
• Ensure compliance with ACR accreditation and regulatory standards
