Kin Insurance, Inc. is seeking a Specialist, Office & Experience to keep our downtown Chicago office running smoothly and to build programs that connect Kinfolk to Kin's culture.

On the People Team, you’ll own office operations, onsite events, onboarding, recognition programs, swag, and ERG support, shaping how employees experience Kin both in the office and remotely. As a remote-first company with Kinfolk across many states, this role has outsized impact on ensuring a welcoming, organized space

Qualifications

• 3+ years in workplace/people experience, including internal comms or learning and development.
• Experience planning events with vendor coordination and budgeting.
• Excellent attention to detail and proactive ownership of tasks.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day Chicago office operations, including supplies, food, mail, and building coordination.
• Own and evolve office space, vendor and landlord relationships to reflect Kin's culture.
• Track and reconcile office expenses and identify process improvements.
• Coordinate all office events and onsite gatherings end to end (venues, contracts, rates, catering).
• Negotiate and submit vendor contracts through the procurement system.
• Build and run employee experience programs across onboarding, recognition, and gifting.
• Own the company swag program from inventory to shipping.
• Manage day-to-day employee communications and ERG logistics.
