Job summary

A premier psychiatric hospital in Chicago is seeking a General Psychiatrist with a strong focus on addictions. This full-time employed position offers a competitive compensation package, including base salary, signing bonus, and various benefits. The psychiatrist will manage a caseload of dual-diagnosed older adolescents and adults, working within an in-patient setting. Qualifications

• Board certification or eligibility in General Psychiatry or Child/Adolescent Psychiatry.
• IL medical license or ability to obtain license is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage caseload of dual-diagnosed older adolescents and adults.
• Utilize Electronic Health Record for patient management.
• Work in an in-patient setting with no weekend rounding.

Hartgrove Hospital, a premier for-profit psychiatric hospital, as well as a flagship for UHS, is part of a two-hospital system in downtown Chicago. Hartgrove Behavioral Health System consists of 168 beds and is expanding to 208; providing acute care, crisis stabilization, treating children as young as 3 through older adults, within 8 different inpatient programs.

We also serve as a teaching hospital for multiple other disciplines including Nursing, Social Work, Expressive Therapy, Occupational Therapy and others.
