Maya Home Care in New Jersey is seeking a compassionate Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) to join our Ocean County team. You will provide in-home nursing care, assist with daily living activities, and support clients in maintaining independence in their own homes.

The ideal candidate has a CHHA certification, a high school diploma or equivalent, and strong communication skills. Travel within Ocean County is required; evenings and weekends may be needed.

Qualifications

• Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) certification.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in home care or healthcare setting preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license (if applicable).

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care and assistance with activities of daily living in clients' homes.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
• Assist clients with mobility and transfers, including walking.
• Provide wound care and dressing changes as needed.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement client care plans.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of client care and services provided.
