Job summary
Assisting Hands Home Care is seeking a compassionate CHHA in New Jersey to provide in-home care, companionship, and assistance with daily living activities. You will follow care plans created by a Registered Nurse and help clients stay as independent as possible in a safe home environment.
We offer a flexible schedule, ongoing training, and opportunities for advancement with a supportive team culture. A $100 referral bonus is available along with direct deposit and 24/7 on-call support.
Qualifications
- Must hold valid CHHA certification in New Jersey.
- Must have a valid driver’s license, state ID, or passport.
Responsibilities
- Offer personal care, assist with activities of daily living, and provide companionship in clients' homes.
- Encourage clients to maintain independence to their fullest extent.
- Adhere to care plans crafted by the Registered Nurse.
- Provide support for mobility, transfers and positioning.
- Assist with medication reminders, meal prep, light housekeeping, and transport to appointments.
- Maintain accurate and timely records of care delivered.
- Adhere to infection control and safety policies and regulations.
