Job summary

Maya Home Care, a boutique PCA/Companion agency in New Jersey, seeks dedicated HHA-certified caregivers to join our team. You will assist clients with daily living activities, provide companionship, and help maintain a safe, clean home environment while following individualized care plans with empathy.

Qualifications

• HHA certification in New Jersey is required.
• Previous home care experience is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
• Compassionate, reliable and dedicated to providing excellent care.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Driving is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities.
• Perform light housekeeping to maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Monitor and report any changes in health status to the care coordinator.
• Follow individualized care plans with compassion and respect.
• Ensure clients' comfort and safety at all times.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of care provided.
