Duke Chevrolet GMC is searching for several fantastic GM Duramax Diesel & HD technicians to join our growing service team.
Qualifications
- Virginia State Inspectors License
- 5+ Years of Duramax Diesel & HD experience with GM vehicles. EV a plus
- GM Duramax experience is REQUIRED! If you don’t have this, we still want to talk about our other tech jobs with you.
- Strong teamwork skills
- Great Attitude
- Must have clean & valid driver's license.

Responsibilities For Technicians
- Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership requirements and the up most ethics.
- Perform Virginia State Inspections, maintenance, alignments, minor brake, and suspension work.
- Test‑drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
- Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
- Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of the time needed for additional repairs.
- Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
- Utilize video and text to communicate to the customer MPI
